The Tornex TX15
The TX15 is the smallest and most versatile product in the range. It can be ceiling/wall mounted, fitted within existing furniture, or even used to create a new, bespoke, solution. The unit draws in smoky air through the inlet grille, filters the air through the three stage filtration system, and then exhausts it as cleaned air via the outlet grille.
Ideally suited for where floor space is at a premium, the TX15 unit is most commonly ceiling mounted. Applications include pubs, clubs, hotels, restaurants, airports and patient smoking rooms in hospitals.
The Tornex Tower
The Tornex Tower directly absorbs cigarette smoke and cleans the air before discharging into the air outlet chamber. The Tower works with existing extraction systems which allows up to 30% of the air to be exhausted. The remaining cleaned air is released back into atmosphere.
The Tornex Tower creates a focal point for smokers. It has been designed specifically for use in smoking rooms and works in conjunction with existing extraction systems.
The Tornex air curtains
Tornex offer two types of air curtain to help
prevent the spread of smoke from a smoking area to a non-smoking area.
The air curtains are recommended for use with all Tornex smoking room
installations and are also used in the Tornado Table solution.
The constant flow of air from the air curtains acts as a barrier to prevent
smoke from drifting out of a smoking room or area.
Standing Air Curtain:
This air curtain measures 2300-3000mm in height, features 4/5 cross flow
fans (depending on required height), and is used to separate open plan
smoking areas.
Door Air Curtain:
Measuring 900mm in length, this air curtain features 2 cross flow fans
and is positioned above the doorway of a smoking room.
